George Papadopulos of Denville on April 1, 2003. Former long-time resident of Montclair, NJ. Born in Warsaw Poland in 1921, he was a veteran of the Polish Home Army, decorated for his service during World War II. After immigrating to the United States in 1949 he studied Conservation, and eventually became Chief Conservator of Art at the Hispanic Society of America Museum in New York City, NY, a position he held for many years. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dr. Valentina Papadopulos of Denville; his sister Elzbieta Papadopulos of Warsaw, Poland; his daughters Eva Davy of Worcester, NY and Ann Guarino of Glen Rock, NJ; his two grandsons, Nicholas and Vincent Guarino, Memorial service to be held at 1:00PM on Saturday April 5 at the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ. Memorial donations to Kosciuszko Foundation, 15 East v65th St., New York, New York 10021-6595 would be appreciated.
