Thomas G. Zaccone, 79, died on Tuesday February 25, 2003 at his home in Denville, NJ. He was born and grew up in North Bergen, and moved to Denville in 1959. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. Tom was the Deputy Regional Commissioner for the Federal Department of Education in New York City when he retired in 1985 after working for thirty-five years. Following his retirement, he worked for Warner Communications in Plainfield, NJ as a contract Manager retiring in 1989. He had been a member of the Denville American Legion Post #390, and the Denville V. F. W. Post #2519. He was also a member of NARF, National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He is survived by his Wife Rosalie nee Dalia whom he was married to for 58 Years. His son Thomas G. Jr. and his wife Jean Zaccone of Wharton, NJ, Two daughters Mary Ann and her husband Jan Grossman of Newportville, Pa. and Judith R. and her husband Jim Julian of Cowan Heights, Ca. Seven Grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. A sister Lillian C. Costanza of Elmwood Park, NJ. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday February 28, 2003 at 8:30 AM for a 9:30 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at St. Marys RC Church in Denville, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations are being accepted to St. Clares Foundation 75
