Pearl Zarestky, 82, died on Saturday February 15, 2003 at her home in Toms River, NJ.
She was born in Harrison, NJ on November 5, 1920, to Thomas and Isabelle Dean. She grew up in Kearny and graduated from Kearny High School. She had lived in Middletown, NJ before moving to Tom,s River, NJ in 1968.
She loved to spend time and travel with her family and friends.
Her first Husband David Evans died in 1954, and her second husband Paul Zarestky died in 1971.
She had worked as a secretary for Prudential Insurance Company, until moving to Toms River, where she went to work for the Toms River Convalescent Center for 17 years retiring in 1987.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses Bruce and Judy Evans of Cincinnati, Ohio, Craig Evans of Trenton, NJ, Karen and Tyler Peirson of Jackson, and Peter Zarestky of Toms River. A Grandson Dylan Peirson of Jackson, and a brother Norman Dean of Denville, NJ.
She also leaves many good neighbors and friends whom she loved to be with.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Prayers will be said in the funeral home at 8:30 PM. by Rev. Beverly Huck. Donations are being accepted to Van Dyke Hospice 99 Highway 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.
