Obituary of June Frances Seller Dufner
June Frances Seller Dufner ( Blaine) passed away at her home in Denville, NJ on August 31, 2021, at the age of 89.
Born in Morristown, she spent most of her life in Denville and worked at Peterson Bakery, Denville as a teenager. A young man pursued her. Many times they swam and jumped off the old metal bridge by Gardner field. Jim Seller was the man my mom gave her heart to, till death do we part. In five years with their daughter, me, moved to 119 Green Pond Road, where they opened JIMMYS’ LAWNMOWER SHOP. After retiring they moved to Bradenton, Florida for 8 years before returning to Denville, NJ.
June loved to cook and bake, especially decorating cake for her grandchildren. She also had an eye for antiques and loved to go antiquing. She worked in the cafeteria for Rockaway Township School System for many years as well as doing catering work for Rockaway River Country Club.
She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years James Seller in 1995. She was also predeceased by her second husband of 3 years Tom Dufner as well as her grandson Adam Stopa in 1990 and by her brother George Blaine and her sister Sharon Veach. Mother:Helen Blaine. Father:George Blaine
June is survived by her loving daughter Lollie and her husband Bill Stopa of Rockaway Twp, and her grandchildren James and his wife Barbara Stopa of Wharton, and Jonathan and his wife Nancy Stopa Of Rockaway Twp, NJ. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Adam, Caleb, Elijah, Hannah, Ezekial and Gideon. As well as her mothers husband Marty Margolin.
