Obituary of Joseph Mushala

Joseph Mushala died on Thursday February 13 at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ after a long illness. He was born in Breslau, Pa and most recently lived in Denville. He previously lived in Dover and Stanhope. Mr. Mushala was a security officer at Picatinny Arsenal for 30 years. He was a WW II Veteran, serving in the Merchant Marines. His wonderful wife Sophie died in February 2002. Survivors include his children, Barry and his wife Mary of Denville; Ron and his wife Jean of Columbia, NJ; and Karen Bell and her husband Don of Stroudsburg, PA. Also his Grandchildren, Christine Mushala, Allan Glass, and Wendy and Troy Schoettlin. His one sister Dorothy Edunk of Wyoming, PA, and three brothers, James of Carteret, NJ, John of Colorado Springs, CO, and Frank of Binghamton, NY. Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ on Monday Feb. 17 at 8:30AM for a funeral mass at 10:00AM at St.s Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, 64 Beach St., Rockaway, NJ. Interment St.s Peter and Paul Cemetery Randolph, NJ. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the church would be appreciated.
