Obituary of Maudellen Lareau

Maudellen Lareau of Randolph passed away February 8, 2003, at Saint Clares Continuing Care Pavilion, surrounded by her loving family. She was 85 years old. Her husband, Bill died in 1967.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Bill and Maria Lareau of Lockport, IL: Ken and Mary Lareau of Randolph, NJ: and Janet and John Shaw of Leesburg, VA.
Maudellen also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Nicky, Chris, and Bill's Lareau plus Bills wife Lorrie all from Illinois; Ken and Teri Lareau, plus Kens wife Lauren who live in New Jersey; Michael Sattler from Pennsylvania, and Jason and Jeffrey Powell of Virginia. She has one great-granddaughter, Amanda Sass of Illinois. Her brother, Jack Beckman , lives in Tucson, AZ, and her sister, Beki Hardenbergh of Rochester Hills, MI.
Maudellen Beckman Lareau was born in Ortonville, Michigan, on March 25, 1917. She moved to Randolph in 1978, and was one of the original tenants at India Brook Village. Through the years she actively participated in Cub Scouts, the Firemens Ladies Auxillary, the Randolph Womens Club, the Randolph Senior Citizens.
She was a member of Resurrection Parish, where a Liturgy of Christian Burial Service will be celebrated on Tuesday February 11, at 10:00AM. Friends may visit with the family on Monday February 10 from 3-5 and 7-9PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Heart Association.
