Obituary of Anna C. Brennan

Anna Camillus Brennan, formerly of Parkchester, New York, and a resident of Denville since1983, died peacefully at home on February 5. Miss Brennan was born December 24, 1907 in New York City, the daughter of the late John and Catherine Meehan Brennan. She was a graduate of the Class of 1929 , Mt. Saint Vincent College, New York, and was a Social Worker for the City of New York, serving in the family court system. Anna was the loving older sister of Msgr. Charles B. Brennan, John Buddy Brennan and Kathleen Brennan, all of whom predeceased her. Miss Brennan, a resident of St. Francis Residential Community, was a long-time volunteer at Saint Clares Hospital, well remembered for her service, sense of humor and friendship to many. She was a close and loving friend of the Chris and Lee Walsh family of Boonton Township, the Kaler-Meade family of Parsippany, Mr. Walter Alefeld and Ms. Cathy Carlin of Denville, and Ms Eugenia Simmonds of Orange. Visitation will be at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ on Friday at from 2-4 and 7-9PM, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial service to be celebrated on Saturday, February 8, at 9:00am in the Chapel of St. Francis Residential Community. Burial will immediately follow the service at St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx, New York.
