Obituary of Victoria T. Fitts

Victoria T. Fitts, 62, died on Tuesday Feb. 4, at the St. Vincents Nursing Home at Cedar Grove, NJ. Mrs. Fitts was born in Pelham, NY. She lived in Rockaway Boro, NJ and Lavallette before moving to South Orange in July 2002.
Mrs. Fitts graduated Hunter College in 1965 as a Liberal Arts Major. She was self employed as a Heath Care Consultant for 20 years and retired in Oct., 2000. She was a member of the Church of the Saviour in Denville and was treasurer and a Sunday School Teacher. She was also a member of the St. Marthas Guild and the Episcopal Church Women of the Diocese of Newark. She was a member of the Metropolitan Opera Guild and a NASCAR fan.
Mrs. Fitts was the wife of William C. Fitts. Also, the sister to Charles Hoffer of New Rochelle, NY, Joseph Hoffer of Eastchester, NY, and Andrew Hoffer of Brewster, NY. She is the aunt of many nieces and nephews and the daughter-in-law of William and Frances Fitts of Farmington, CT.
Mrs. Fitts funeral services will be held on Saturday Feb. 8 at 4:00PM at the Church of the Saviour, Morris Ave., Denville, NJ. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to ALS Association of Greater NY, 116 John St., Suite 1304, New York, NY 10038 would be appreciated.
