Anthony F. Galdi, Avid Golfer and Good Friend
Anthony Galdi, a lifelong resident of Morristown and St. Francis Residential Community, Denville, died at the age of 91 at Sarah Francis Nursing Home after a short illness. He is the son of the late Peter and Maria Galdi (Marino). His sisters, Theresa Cioccio and Mildred Dalton and brothers James, Joseph and Louis and his nephew, Peter Galdi predeceased him.
Tony graduated from Morristown High School. He served in the US Army and was a retired marketer of fine spirits. Tony was an avid golfer and a founding member of the Rockaway River Country Club, Denville.
He is survived by his niece Robin Becker, New York, Nephews John and Dominick Dalton, Morristown, Peter Dalton, Denville and Gary Galdi, Atlanta, GA, and a cousin Mary Marino, Hoboken.
Arrangements through Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ visitation on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9PM. A liturgy of Christian Burial service on Thursday at 10:00AM at St. Francis Chapel, Denville. Entombment Holy Rood Cemetery Mausoleum, Morristown.
