George H. Griffiths, 80 died on Saturday March 8, 2008 at Newton Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Griffiths was born in Jersey City and was a longtime resident of Denville. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. He was a Lineman for Jersey Central Power and Light for 36 years retiring in 1991. He was a member of The St. Johns Masonic Temple, Mountain Lakes, NJ, and a member of the Hardwick Senior Citizens. He was an avid reader and golfer.
His wife Dorothy L. Griffiths in 2005 predeceased him.
His son Michael Griffiths and wife Kathryn of Lafayette, his grandchildren Erin and Colin, his great granddaughter Helen survive him.
Relatives and friends will be received at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com (please light a candle in memory of George on web site), on Saturday March 15th from 2:00-2:30PM, with services at 2:30PM.
