Obituary of Dennis Bennett
Dennis B. Bennett of Wayne, NJ passed away on April 9, 2017. At the age of 73.
Born in Jersey City, he lived for most of his life in Wayne, NJ.
Dennis served in the United States Army in the early 1960's and was stationed in Germany.
He later worked in sales and was in the parts distribution department at Toyota of Morristown before retiring in 2007. He enjoyed many things, such as motorcycles, boats, fishing, skiing, music, being as he had his pilot's license, he owned a Cessna plane. In his youth he also enjoyed Enduro dirt bike racing, but most people knew him for his love of telling stories.
He is survived by his spouse Theresa Davis of Wayne, NJ, with whom he shared 33 years, also his children Karen & Joel Farmer of Hanahan, SC, and Brian & Nicole Bennett of East Norriton, PA. His grandchildren Kaitlynn, Jackson and Jillian Farmer and Danielle & Dylan Bennett as well as his brother Douglas Bennett of Bellevue, FL and his former wife Patricia Bennett of Hanahan, SC and many cousins, Nieces and Nephews survive him.
Funeral services will be held at 12PM on Thursday April 13, 2017, at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM and prior to services on Thursday from 11AM to 12PM.
