Obituary of Florence Wright
Florence T. Wright, of Boonton, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Care One at Morris in Parsippany. She was 90 years young.
Born in Clifton and raised in Paterson, NJ, she met and married her soulmate, John F. Wright in 1946. Together they moved to the Indian Lake section of Denville to raise their family. She worked as the Bookkeeper for Advance Pressure Castings Corp. in Denville. In 1988, the happy couple retired to Wisconsin. When John passed away in 1993, she came back to NJ to be with her family. Florence was an avid reader, always with a book in her hand, and loved taking walks. Above anything else, she cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were her world and she adored every second spent with them.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, John F. Wright, Sr. and daughter-in-law Dawn Wright, left to keep her legacy alive is her beloved children, John Wright and Jeane (Wright) Bednar; her devoted grandchildren, Todd Wright and his wife Michelle, Richard Wright and his wife Ivette, Joseph Wright and his wife Chrisha, Scott Bednar, and John Bednar and his fiancé Chrissy Menke; her loving great-grandchildren, Brandy, Matthew, Owen, Shane, Jackson, McKenna, and Lillian; and many other extended family and friends.
Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31st from 4 – 8 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ 07834. Memorial Donations can be made in her memory to the Boonton Fire Department, 100 Washington St., Boonton, NJ 07005 or the Stillwater Fire Department, 929 Stillwater Rd., Stillwater, NJ 07860.
