Obituary of Dolores I. Reuther

Dolores I. (Wilde) Reuther passed away on November 2, 2016, at the age of 85. She was raised in Irvington before moving to Denville, NJ 57 years ago. Dolores worked for many years as a secretary at WMTR and WDHA radio stations. She then worked as a real estate agent at Colonial Realty in Denville before retiring in 1986. She was a dedicated member of the Denville Senior Citizens for 16 years. Her passion was cooking, but she also loved gardening, paying attention to the weather and the farmer's almanac, as well as spending time on Long Beach Island. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, George A. Reuther III, in 1997, and also by her son Christopher C. Reuther in 2013. Dolores is survived by her children George A. Reuther IV of Richmond, VA, Maureen Ferguson of Rockaway, Terri Reuther of Denville, and Tim Reuther of Morristown, NJ. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild and has one great grandchild on the way. Her brother Robert Wilde of TX and her sister Dorothy Garvey of VA also survive her. Visitation will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 on Friday November 4, 2016, from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral services will begin at 9am on Saturday November 5, at the funeral home, then going to St. Mary's Church in Denville for a Liturgy of Burial Mass.
