Lesch “Jerry”, 72 of Rockaway, NJ passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010. He died at home in the loving care of his family after a short battle with cancer. Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara (Hartsock) Lesch, and his four children and their spouses, Lorraine and Cliff O’Connor, Tricia and John DePack, Jerry and Lori Lesch and Nancy and Dean Nicholls, together with eight wonderful grandchildren. Family will receive visitors on December 20, 2010 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville NJ. Friends and Relatives are welcome to attend the Funeral Service on Tuesday Dec. 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM. He was born in Passaic, NJ moved to Rockaway in 1968. He worked as a supervisor at Compressed gas in Pine Brook, NJ for 30 years until his retirement in 2000. His greatest joys were times at the beach and time spent with his family. He spent many summers taking care of his grandkids who will always remember being at “Camp Pas”. Survived by his siblings Jane Colvin and Tommy Lesch. Preceded in death by siblings: Richard Lesch, Raymond Lesch, James Lesch, Patsy Lesch Kenechny, Betty Lesch Higgins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
