Olga Rogers, 93, of Denville, NJ, died on Wednesday July 21, 2010 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, NJ
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11 AM at the First Presbyterian Church 326 Bloomfield Ave, Caldwell, NJ. Olga was born in Reisvagstrand-Farsund, Norway and came to the US in 1929, settling in Brooklyn, NY. Later she had lived in several N.J. locations but mostly in Oxford, NJ before moving back to Brooklyn and finally to Denville in 1997. She worked for the Chase Manhattan Bank in Manhattan and later for a variety of small retailers including the Clinton Bakery in Clinton, NJ.
Olga is survived by her son Alvin Olsen and wife Lorraine (Sue) of Caldwell, NJ and her two grandsons and their wives Thomas and Beth Olsen of Ridgewood, NJ and Mark and Kate Olsen of Wall, NJ. She is also survived by her five great grandchildren Erik, Allison, Malia, Andrew, and Teddy. She was predeceased by her husbands Arne J. Olsen and Richard Rogers, daughter Myra Olsen and her sister Ragna Karlsen. Arrangements are being handled by Norman Dean Home for Services Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
