Robert S. Krasnick, fondly known as "Kraz", 63, of Hope, NJ, passed away at home peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, July 8, 2010. He was a wonderful husband, beloved son, brother, and friend. He was born in Plainfield, NJ on February 5, 1947, the eldest son of Ruth Cristello. For the past 24 years he resided in Hope, NJ with his beloved wife Sharon. Robert retired in 2007 from Mennen-Colgate Palmolive in Morristown, NJ where he worked as a Senior Mechanic for 39 years. In his spare time he enjoyed kayaking, camping, fishing his motorcycle and his dog, Shelby.
In addition to his wife of 28 years he is survived by his mother, Ruth Cristello; sister, Lynn Smith both of Barnegat, NJ; brothers, Ronald Krasnick and wife Elaine of Wharton, NJ; Jay Galazin of Pelican Lake, WI; and sister Kathy Galazin of Laceyville, PA; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Joe and Lil Karsko of Rockaway; sister-in-law Eileen Howard and husband Danny of Rockaway; and brother-in-law Stephen Karsko and wife Debbie of Marshalls Creek, PA. Robert is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may visit at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ from 2-5 pm on Sunday, July 11. Services will take place immediately following at 5:00 pm.
