Raymond Lindsley, age 83, of Denville, formerly of Jersey City, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 at St. Clares Hospital, Denville. He had been employed as a Department Manager at A&P in Jersey City for over 38 years, retiring in 1988. Raymond served his country in the US Army in WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine (Camuto) Lindsley; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children, William (Irene) Lindsley, of River Edge; Joan (James) Lucid, of Denville, Raymond Jr. (Kathleen) Lindsley of Budd Lake; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and his brother Walter .
Friends and relatives may visit on Tuesday May 25, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville, NJ. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 26, at 10:00am at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Please meet at funeral home at 8:45 am.
