Muriel was born in The Bronx, was a longtime resident of Yonkers, NY and the last 19 years at Franciscan Oaks at Denville, NJ. She received her Associate Business degree and was an Administrator of the Cell Biology Department at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York after 30 years service retired 19 years ago. Muriel was predeceased by her husbands John Postma in 1982 and Frank Scott in 1996. She is survived by her son, Jonathan Postma, daughter in law, Jeni Porter, grandson, Riley Quinn Postma, and good friend Tom Morris. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial service on Tuesday May 4, at 10:00am at St. Francis Chapel, Denville, NJ. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations are made in memory of Muriel Postma, Attention Cell Biology Dept. to Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Jack and Pearl Resnick Campus, 1300 Morris Park Ave., Mazer 175, Bronx, NY 10461 Attention Emily Snyder.
