Albert Carl Schumacher Sr. passed away at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ on April 28, 2010.
He was 78 years old.
Born and raised in Queens, NY he had moved to Rockaway Twp., NJ where he has lived for the last 33 years.
Albert served in the US Army during the Korean War where he was a P.O.W. living in a prison camp for 2 years. He then went to work for Nabisco first in NY, then in East Hanover, NJ for 21 years before retiring in 1987.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Marie (Calabrese) Schumacher, and his loving son Albert Schumacher Jr. both of Rockaway Twp., NJ.
Funeral services will be held on Friday April 30, 2010 at 8:30PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834. Friends may visit prior to the service from 2-4 & 7-8:30PM. Please light a candle in his memory at: www.normandean.com.
