Massaro, 76 passed away on Monday April 5, 2010 at Saint Clare’s Hospital, Denville, NJ. Mr. Massaro was born in Orange, NJ was a resident of East Hanover for 35 years and the last 10 years in Denville. Mr. Massaro served in the United States Army. He was a self employed carpenter. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Barbara, his daughters, Carla Durako and her husband Tom of Denville, Dina Tucker and her husband Douglas of Randolph, Carmen Tanis and her husband Matt of Green Pond, his seven grandchildren, Daneen Milik and her husband Rafal, TJ, Andrew, Taylor, Jillian, Owen, and McKenna, and one great granddaughter Malia, his two sisters, Carmela DePace of North Arlington and Nancy Mausolino of Phillipsburg. Carmen’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Carmen on web site), on Friday April 9th at 9am for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Mary’s Church, Denville, NJ entombment committal services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday April 7th from 7-9pm and Thursday April 8th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society or the National Kidney Foundation.
