Linda J. Rosenberg, 37 Lover of Life Linda Jeanne Rosenberg lost her battle with cancer on October 31, 2009. She passed away at UMDNJ Hospital in Newark, surrounded by her loving family. Linda was a resident of Denville, NJ for most of her life, attended Morris Knolls High School and the County College of Morris, and later moved to Morris Plains. She was a legal secretary for 8 years at Hardin, Kundla, McKeon and Poletto, PA, in Springfield, NJ, a law firm which displayed extraordinary compassion and generosity in their dealings with Linda. In 2008, Linda suffered complications as a result of multiple surgeries on her leg, and was out of work for almost a year. Just prior to her return to work, in January of 2009, she was diagnosed with pleomorphic liposarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She fought hard, but in the end, succumbed to the illness. Linda loved life and found great enjoyment in spending time with her family, visiting her parents' home and the beach near Ocean City, Maryland, working out and socializing at Bally Total Fitness in Wayne, studying the Bible, visiting gem shows and craft fairs, observing the funny things that animals do (especially squirrels) and last, but not least, hanging out with her friends, including her best friend Cindy Ryan. Linda, with her big heart, great sense of humor and infectious laugh, will be terribly missed by all, and is survived by her parents, James and Jeanne Rosenberg, who tirelessly and lovingly provided care for her, her sister, Rachel Onufrak, brother-in-law, Matthew Onufrak, her niece and nephew, Mia and Nikolas Onufrak, her beloved uncle, Carl Rohacek, her aunts, Marion Cross, Vicki Gorecki and Ann Brice and many, many cousins, including Zack and Ava Rohacek and the Arzinger family. Funeral arrangements have been made through Norman Dean Home For Services, located at 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ, where friends and relatives will be welcomed on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 2 to 5 PM, with a memorial service at 5 PM.
