Obituary of Salvatore Volpe

Salvatore Volpe, age 75, passed away Friday, October 16, at
Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ. Mr. Volpe was born in Brooklyn,
NY and resided in Ozone Park, Queens with his wife until 1985 when he
moved to Denville, NJ. He served his country in the US Army in the late
1950's. He was the Manager of Met Food in the Bronx for over 35 years.
In his later years he worked at the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Denville.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Irene (McGinley); daughter
Terri Brady and her husband Jack; grandsons Chris and Gregg Hammill;
sister-in-law, Theresa McGinley, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday,
October 26, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Denville.
