Winship, 57, passed away at his home in Mt. Tabor on Sunday July 19, 2009. Mr. Winship was born in Washington DC, he was a resident of Cedar Grove and South Orange and the last six in Mt. Tabor. He was a Salesmen at the Short Hills Bloomingdale’s Department Store. Mr. Winship was a soloist for the Church on the Green in Bloomfield, and The New Jersey Conservatory in Morris County, was a member of the Concert Chorale of Caldwell, was a former member of the DeMolay as a young man, and a member of the choir at the Church of the Saviour in Denville, and was a Eagle Scout. Richard is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patricia R. (nee Rodgers) Winship, his son Donald Winship of Mt. Tabor, his mother Ellen Winship of Washington DC, his brothers Douglas Winship of Florida and Jay Lee Winship of California. Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday July 25th from 9:30am to time of funeral liturgy services at 10:30am at the Church of the Saviour, 155 Morris Ave., Denville, NJ.
