Obituary of Frances Anita Stark

Please share a memory of Frances to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

With deep sorrow, our family announces the passing of our mother, Frances Anita Fecchino Stark, on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She had shared 93 years of unconditional love, infectious laughter, and unforgettable memories with family and friends.

She was a woman of strength and beauty. She was truly talented and always ahead of her time in the arts and design. A true visionary.

She was born in Dover, NJ to John Fecchino and Rose Esposito Fecchino in September of 1930. Frances attended Sacred Heart elementary and Dover High School. She was baptized, confirmed and married at Sacred Heart. She was always diligent with her work ethic. With three young children, she worked for the school system of Denville. As they grew older, she moved to an office environment and eventually worked her way to being a supervisor at Allied Signal in Morristown.

Being the last of her generation, she is predeceased by her husband, Albert Stark, and five of her brothers and sisters: Ida Martone, Loretta McDowell, Valentino Fecchino, John Fecchino and Phyllis Walsh.

Albert and Frances married in 1950 and made their home in Denville, NJ for more than 45 years. She is survived by her three children, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sharon Stark Falconer, husband Ed and three children:  Evan Falconer, wife Kristie and daughter Maddox; Adam Falconer, wife Laura and son Arlo; Andrew Falconer and wife Amber. Her son Thomas Stark, wife Deborah Grecco Stark and 3 children:  Christopher Stark and wife Samantha; Matthew Stark; and Madeleine Stark.  And her daughter, Linda Stark and partner Kevin Chlodnicki.
