Joseph A. Panetta

April 24, 1929 – July 11, 2023

 

Joseph A. Panetta of Marco Island, Florida as well as Denville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2023 at the age of 94.

 

Joe was a remarkable man, a true gentleman that above all else, adored his wife, children and grandchildren.  Joe, a devout catholic, was a retired executive for MetLife who loved traveling with his wife around the world to many countries, making delicious gourmet meals, baking biscotti’s, playing tennis, fishing, volunteering and spending time with his family and friends.  He was also a member of the Lion’s Club and as well as the Knights of Columbus. 

 

Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Olga, and his loving children, Donald and his wife, Lori, David and his wife Michelle and his daughter Susan.   He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren; Eric, Marissa and her boyfriend Ryan, Joseph, James and his girlfriend Gina, Alexis and her husband Mark, Geyser and his girlfriend Jackie, Nicholas and his girlfriend Alicja and Madelyn and well as his loved grandpuppies, Rocco, Ella and Zoe.

 

Joe will be laid to rest at the Norman Dean Funeral Home 16 Righter Avenue, Denville NJ  07834 www.normandean.com. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 2:00pm-6:00pm.  A funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 17 at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Magnificat Catholic Church in the Chapel, Miller Road Kinnelon NJ 07405, followed by burial at Our Lady of the Magnificat Cemetery.
