My deepest sympathy to the family.......I've known Florence, most of my life, growing up on Creston Ave. in The Bronx, my family and the O'Shaughnessy's go back to when they had a bar on 183rd St., We all went to the same school/church...Florence and family lived in the same lake community and we'd often see each other around town or more than often at the bank where she worked....always a warm greeting, a smile and small talk of families...she was a true Bronx girl......may she rest in eternal peace!
Fran, John and families,
Your all in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom was an amazing woman. Being able to work with her twice was the best. When I think back I start to smile I can hear her saying on of her famous catch phrases “Can you see what I’m sayin?” She was a joy and pleasure to work with and I am very happy to have called her my friend for many years.
