Obituary of Carol J. Henry

Carol J. Henry passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Heath Village Nursing & Rehabilitation in Hackettstown, New Jersey. She had shared 91 years of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories with family and friends.

Born and raised in Orange to the late Jean (Morongell) and Edwin Curtis Fenner, Carol was the oldest of seven children. She has been a Rockaway resident for over 4 decades. Carol was a hard and dedicated worker her entire life, having worked at various positions in food services and clerical work. She was an attentive wife, an incredible mother, a doting granny and an amazing great-granny. She was an avid reader and a talented crocheter. Carol was a charter and active member of the Marcella Community Center in Rockaway Township. She will be forever missed and treasured.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her loving children, Harry (Lynn) Colclough, Karen Colclough, Robin (Lake) McWilliams, and Carol Colclough; her cherished grandchildren, Rachel Jazinski, Melinda Brady, Carmen Colclough, Armando Colclough, Elizabeth Margiotta, Kristina Parker, Timothy McWilliams, Reilly McWilliams, and Taylor McWilliams; 20 treasured great-grandchildren; 2 adored great-great-grandchildren, and one on the way; many beloved nieces and nephews; and dear extended family and friends. She joins in Heaven her husband Fay Frank Henry and her son Allan Colclough.

Relatives and friends are welcome to celebrate Carol’s life on Thursday, September 3^rd from 4 – 7 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, New Jersey. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, September 4^th at 1 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services.
