Aleida Rosa Bean, a beacon of warmth, humor, and boundless love, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, at the age of 75, enveloped by the love of her family in the comfort of her sister's home. Born on November 23, 1950, in the vibrant city of Havana, Cuba, Aleida was the cherished daughter of Carlos and Aleida Gaset. Her life's journey was marked by resilience, joy, and a profound commitment to her family and career.

Aleida migrated to the United States from Cuba in 1961 as part of Operation Peter Pan, bringing with her the rich culture and spirited energy of her birthplace. She pursued her education with determination, earning a Bachelor's degree that would be the first step toward a fulfilling career. Aleida's professional life was distinguished by her role as an Executive Concierge, a position she held with immense pride and dedication. She was a loyal employee at Canyon Ranch, where her exceptional skills and vibrant personality left an indelible mark. Her illustrious career also saw her grace the halls of many exclusive A-list resorts, where she was beloved by colleagues and clients alike for her attention to detail and genuine care.

Family was the cornerstone of Aleida's life. She was predeceased by her beloved brothers, Jorge and Juan Carlos, and is survived by her devoted brother, Carlos Gaset, her sister, Maria Lynch, along with Maria's husband, Michael, and her sister-in-law Peggy Gaset. Aleida's legacy of love extends to her many nieces, nephews, and their children, who were all touched by her unyielding support and affection. Her family gatherings were enriched by her zest for life, whether she was cooking with her sister, shopping for treasures, or cheering on the young ones at their games. Aleida's presence was a constant, vibrant force that brightened every occasion.

Known for her candidness and endless positivity, Aleida had a gift for conversation that could uplift even the heaviest of hearts. Her resilience shone through her battle with breast cancer, a struggle she faced with grace and an unwavering smile. Her hobbies reflected her creativity and love for her family; she was often found knitting or crocheting beautiful blankets, each stitch a testament to her love and care.
