Obituary of Robin Angela Walles

Robin Angela Walles (Stromberg), 56, passed away peacefully at Morristown Medical Center on April 3, 2026.

Born in White Plains, New York, Robin was the beloved daughter of Walter and Joan Stromberg. She was raised in Kearny, New Jersey, and later made her home in Denville, New Jersey, where she settled in 2002 and built a life centered on family, community, and service to others.

Robin earned her Master’s Degree from Rutgers University and dedicated her career to education. She worked as a devoted teacher with the West Milford Board of Education, where she taught students in grades 4 through 6. She was passionate about helping children learn and grow, leaving a lasting impact on both her students and colleagues.

Robin found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved arts and crafts, playing board games, cooking, and dining out with family and friends. She enjoyed browsing thrift shops and spending time at the Denville Book Barn. The beach was one of her favorite places, especially Jamesport on Long Island, New York. She also had a natural aptitude for technology. Above all, Robin cherished her family and the time she spent with them.

She was predeceased by her sister, Susan Stromberg, in 2023 and by her step father John Oster in 2016.

Robin is survived by her loving sons, Nicholas, Zachary, and Kyle Walles, all of Denville, New Jersey, her mother, Joan Oster, her brother, Gary Stromberg and his wife Claudia, of Chatham, New Jersey, and her brother, Lawrence Stromberg of Old Bridge, New Jersey.

Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Christopher’s Church, 1050 Littleton Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054.

Robin will be remembered for her smile, kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family, friends, and students. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
