Ms. Walles was and forever will be my favorite teacher. She knew I was struggling with my family life during my 6th grade year, and made sure I never felt left out, or neglected. She found some letters I wrote while going through a hard time and made sure I got the help I needed. I invited her to my 8th grade graduation two years after leaving her class. And I made sure she got to watch my high school graduation live stream (since she couldn’t be there in person.) I had planned to invite her to my wedding next year — that’s how much of an impact she made on my life. Thank you, Ms. Walles, for never giving up on me, for making sure I felt loved and included, and for helping me become the woman I am today. Sending my love and condolences to your family.
