I am thankful and blessed to have had the privilege to know Richard “Richie Rich” for over 35 years.
You were a wonderful, caring, kind and generous educator to soooo many of us in so many ways.
Thank you for the opportunity to work with you and experience your work routine first hand at 52.
I truly appreciate the way you have helped me and my family over the years. I have enjoyed an incredible friendship with both you and Carol. The big brother and sister I didn’t have – “the chosen ones.”
Richard you were such a good man living a super fabulous / memorable / wonderful life and I am very happy you left on a high note, doing what you LOVED till the end.
May you rest in peace from a life well lived.

My brother Richard had an amazing abundance of energy. He never just did something, he instead would do it to the max! He was extremely passionate about his family, his business, learning about everything that would help people with their health issues, finance, hunting, fishing, and getting the most out of life.
His family meant everything to him. I will always be extremely thankful for how he took on the responsibility of taking care of our mother after my father passed. He made sure she had the best assistant living center and care after she suffered a stroke. He visited her every night working with her through an exorbitant number of puzzles. He carried on the family tradition of giving her a corsage for holidays which my mother truly cherished. He was an amazing son. Upon meeting our Dad in heaven, I’m sure Dad greeted Richard saying “Well done my loving son, I am so proud of you”!
Richard’s energy and love will live on through his amazing family. He will always be with us. Love you brother!

What an incredible life, lived to the max! Mr. Dicks’ energy and positivity was contagious. He worked so hard to take care of his family and help others. What better legacy is there than that? I know he’s eating all the cake and catching the biggest fish with Garrett. And I know how incredibly proud he is of his children and grandchildren. Sending so much love to your family.

Dear Lindsey, Carole, and Family...
We have sent flowers to the service to honor Richard's Celebration of Life in Red, White and Yellow!
These colors represent the colors of Virginia Military Institute in Virginia. We choose this combination because of the many conversations I had with Richard regarding the school and its impact on so many lives, and the number of people we have helped who graduated from there.
It also symbolizes the vibrancy of color and energy that Richard brought to everyone else's life.
He leaves a legacy among us that will carry on for many many years to come!
Our love and prayers go out to all of you for your huge loss of a great man ~

Uncle Richard would walk through the door exclaiming “All right, all right, all right! Is everyone having a good time? Glad to hear it!” The energy and love he brought with him everywhere just made everyone feel loved and safe. I love how he would add “Super” to the front of our names, making us feel so special. I will cherish all of the wonderful memories I had with him; family gatherings, back yard barbecues, his love for hunting and fishing, The Beach Boys, his Hawaiian shirts, the big piece of birthday cake, the special dance that he and Aunt Carol would do, and most of all, his amazing hugs. I miss you already Uncle Richard. I love you!

I am truly thankful & honored for the many years knowing Richard. He was the kindest, caring, gentle, enthusiastic & most generous man. There wasn’t a time he wouldn’t get back to you to help his zoom friends & family with information. I remember many times when we lived in Jersey & would pick up products, Richard was so excited to try his new products on me & my hubby. We would always enjoy our lengthy visits with him & Carol. We will be forever grateful to have had him in our lives.
Our thoughts & prayers will be with you Carol & your beautiful family during this trying time. Richard will be greatly missed. God bless our Angel Richard.

Richard will always be known around our households (Richard taught us this, Richard said that..). I first met Shelley in 1975, and through that friendship I was blessed to know her father, Mr. Dicks. From the very beginning, he was such a special man to me — truly a father figure in my life.
Every time I saw him, he greeted me the same way: with a warm smile, a heartfelt hug, and genuine questions about my kids and family. He didn’t just ask out of politeness — he truly wanted to know how everyone was doing. That was who he was. He cared deeply about people.
Mr. Dicks also had an incredible gift for healing. If modern medicine failed you, Mr. Dicks could help heal you — and even better, he would teach you how to help heal yourself. He would get so excited to hear about something positive you had experienced from a product or a new approach you had tried.
He celebrated every joy and accomplishment with pure enthusiasm, often exclaiming “SUPER!” or “AWESOME!” in a way that made you feel proud and encouraged. He was just as present during life’s difficult moments. When hearts were heavy, he was a steady voice offering comfort, wisdom, and reassurance.
One memory that has always stayed with me perfectly captures his spirit. The year the giant tree in his front yard came crashing down, it left behind a massive trunk. Lindsey was horrified, and I believe Richard and Carol were away on vacation. When they returned home, Mr. Dicks simply went to work. Day after day, through the spring, summer, and fall, he hacked away at that enormous trunk by hand until it was completely gone. It was a monumental task, but his determination never wavered.
That was the way he approached life. Failure simply wasn’t in his vocabulary. It was a mindset he instilled in all of us. Being around him made you feel like anything was possible.
He truly lived life to the fullest — in the most SUPER, AWESOME way he knew how — and I will miss him dearly.

Richard was a wonderful brother in law whose life was full of such enthusiasm and passion for helping, learning and sharing with others. He made our family gatherings fun making sure we all were having a great time which led to many wonderful memories. What I will miss most of all is our visits with Carol and Rich when we would sit around the kitchen table, relax and enjoy our time together eating cake and donuts and talk about our family. Those memories will stay in my heart forever. Love Denise

Richard will always, in my mind, be in his small office sharing his wisdom and love with us. Carole Moore and I rode together and were his students. I will always see Richard as my mentor and teacher who led me on the path - a continuation of Sharon Morganweck's lessons-to self health. How many times do I thank Richard and Sharon for coming into our family's life and helping us figure the right thing to do for our health? Thank you Richard for dedicating your life to teaching us the miracles of Nature's gifts.
Love, Joan Daskalopoulos Selby

Richard enjoyed Life, Family, Friends, and Business Associates . I will surely miss our weekly calls, and the times we shared at Natures Sunshine Events.
A wealth of knowledge he shared openly with all he knew.
The pictures below are memories of those times we shared. I will miss you Sir Richard.

Richard was a one and only. A one is a multi-million. There will never be another like him. His energy, his enthusiasm for healing and helping others will never be matched. The sum of the experiences he had gave him a unique persepective on any subject one brought up or any problem one was dealing with. His caring, his heart, he was there for everyone. He will never be forgotten among those of us who valued him and appreciated him for who he was and how he gave so much of himself to so many others. We love you Richard. Thank you for your indelible gift of healing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with so many of us who loved you more than you probably knew. You will be missed..every day..every hour..by us,by your family...by those who depended on you for life. You have left footprints in our hearts. Joan & Jan Abernathy
