Obituary of Barbara Elaine Glennon

Barbara Elaine Glennon, 78, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, at Morristown Medical Center.

Born in Mineola, NY to Richard and Barbara (Fegan) Grimes, Barbara was raised with strong family values that would define her life. A lifetime resident of Denville, NJ, she lovingly raised her family and became a treasured member of the community.

Barbara enjoyed summers at Long Beach Island, crossword puzzles, time spent around their kitchen table with family and friends, and trips to the casino. Above all, Barbara’s family was her life. She was not only the heart and foundation of her own family, but she extended that love generously to friends and neighbors, welcoming all as if they were her own.

She was predeceased in 2025 by her beloved husband of 56 years, James “Jim” David Glennon; and by her dear sister, Elizabeth Crothers.

Barbara is survived by her loving children: Beth and her husband, David Bradley, of Gilbertsville, PA; Cathy and her husband, Ken Bienkowski, of Denville, NJ; and Patti Glennon and her fiancé, Todd Hosier, of Hopatcong, NJ. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Emily Bradley; Grace Bradley and her fiancé, Billy Jackson; Kylie Bienkowski; and Sean Bienkowski. Her brother-in-law Bobby Crothers remains a cherished part of the family. She is also survived by her brothers, Richard Grimes and his wife, Sharon and James Grimes and his wife, Donna.

She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, dear friends, and wonderful neighbors whose lives she touched deeply.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834 (www.normandean.com).

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 15 Myers Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834. Interment will follow at Denville Cemetery.

Barbara’s warmth, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will remain a lasting legacy in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
