My family expresses their deepest condolences for your loss. Growing up with Chrissy and Jenny, we spent many days playing at the house, swimming in the pool and jumping on the trampoline. I’ll always remember the radio on the kitchen table with the “oldies” playing. Your dad always welcomed me, my brother and any of our friends into your home with a smile on his face. I met Bob at the gym and wasn’t long that we became friends. Shared many mornings having breakfast and good conversations and laughs. I will miss Bob. My deepest sympathy to family

I first met Sharon and Bob when I moved to Denville Jan., 1990, in the middle of the school year and our eldest daughters were in school together. They welcomed and embraced us immediately and our girls became fast friends sharing sleep-overs and Girl Scouts. Bob was always so kind to my daughter and he and Sharon made her feel like part of their family! He was a pillar of our beloved Denville and will be greatly missed. My family thanks him for many years of service, and our thoughts and prayers are with Sharon and family.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I worked with him for many years at Gordon Publications and always found him to be a good teacher, worthy of respect and very funny. I am too far away to attend the service but am sending prayers and condolences to his family and all who were close to him. He truly will be missed.

I met Bob in 1989 when I joined the Denville FD. He was always supportive, a great teacher and mentor. He was so fun and easy to talk to, just an all around great guy. He touched so many lives with his dedicated service. He will never be forgotten, and he has a lasting legacy with all of us firefighters who's lives he touched through his leadership. Rest easy Chief and Thank you for your guidance. My condolences to his family, thank you for sharing him with his second family!

Sharon and family
I met Bob when I joined the DFD in 1980. Blessed was I to know and talk shop with him over the years. I was particularly blessed to get to chat with him in Wildwood a couple of years ago. I will bow my head and salute him from here in NC. I know he is now in a better place and once again unencumbered to do the things he loved.
