Obituary of Joyce A. Bacsick

Joyce Adele Bacsick passed away on January 30, 2026. Joyce is preceeded by her father Harry VanderGyze, her mother Dorothy VanderGyze, her twin sister Jenette Tsonas and her niece Nicole Tsonas.

 

Joyce was born in Newark NJ. In 1946. She later lived in Parsippany NJ, where she met her loving husband Joseph and married her soul mate in 1984. Joyce worked at PSE&G for 30 years managing their cash management. Joyce loved to shop, cook and keep a beautiful home for her and Joseph. Joyce was very talented in remodeling and she and Joe did numerous projects to make their home wonderful. Joyce is survived by her sister Ceilia, nieces, nephews and very close friends.

Hours of public visitation for Joyce are scheduled for Thursday, February 5, from 2 to 6 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 6, at 10 AM, with friends welcome to gather at 9:30 AM at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834. A graveside service will follow immediately after at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083.
