I met Garfield in Irvington high school in 1988. He was one of the 1st Jamaican classmates. We kicked it off and bonded as Jamaican to do in a foreign country. We all later became inseparable friends and continue to connect throughout the years. I recall him visiting us in Atlanta in the 90s and taught us how to bake a Christmas black cake. We also spent time in Jamaica touring and going to many parties and sound clashes. We recently hung out in August at a backyard party and that felt like just yesterday. We will miss you bro so many memories to cherish. Rest in peace bro.
