Obituary of Patricia Ann Rogers
Patricia Ann Rogers, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on December 31, 2025.
Patricia was born on March 9, 1936, to Peter and Dorothy McKeon in Orange, New Jersey. She was raised in the area and graduated from Clifford Scott High School, East Orange, NJ. It was there that she met the love of her life, Ronald Rogers. Their high school friendship blossomed into a lifelong romance and enduring partnership.
Patricia and Ronald shared a love of spending time with friends, attending happy hours, and enjoying live music together. Ronald, a proud U.S. Army veteran, was a longtime member of American Legion Post 186 in Little River, South Carolina. Patricia was equally dedicated, spending more than 26 years as an active member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, where she formed close friendships.
These high school sweethearts would have celebrated 70 years of marriage in February of 2026. While their remarkable milestone was not reached on this earth, their family takes comfort in knowing they are now reunited in paradise.
Patricia was an avid reader who loved to lose herself in a good book. She was a true social butterfly. She enjoyed organizing social luncheons, playing cards and keeping in touch with friends near and far. Patricia was also a proud and loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Living in Little River, South Carolina, her home became a cherished destination for family members, and she found great joy in welcoming them and spending time together.
Patricia will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family and friends. Patricia is survived by her children, Glenn Rogers (Sandy), Deborah Maffei (Tom), Kim Utter (David), her grandchildren, Carissa Utter, Deanna Iseppi (Jon), Kaleigh Arce (Anthony), Matthew Maffei, Kevin Utter, her great grandchildren, Carter and Luca Iseppi, as well as many friends who will remember her fondly. Patricia now joins not only her beloved husband, Ronald Rogers, whom she lost only two months prior, but also reunites with her sister, Barbara Fitzgerald.
If you would like to contribute to Patricia’s memory in your own way, please consider making a charitable contribution to the Valorous Church of Little River, SC. Donations can be made via this link.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date, but please use this time to leave a condolence, share a memory, or light a candle to continue to let Patricia’s light shine!
