Obituary of Deborah Marie Foran
Deborah Marie Foran (Ruggiero), 77, of Denville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, Deborah was the beloved daughter of the late Valentino and Marie (Moscaritola) Ruggiero. She lived in Bloomfield, New Jersey for many years before settling in Denville in 1980, where she made her home and community.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Lawrence Foran Jr. of Denville, NJ; her cherished daughters, Maria (Chris) Cavallone and Jennifer (Tommy) Takacs; and one cherished granddaughter, Alicia Takacs.
She is also survived by her loving extended family, Diane Solimo, Janet Ruccia, Linda (Pete) Bracuti, as well as Diane (Justin) Kinney, Janet Ruccia, Gioia (Pete) Trendifilov, Cara Solimo, Nicholas (Erin) Solimo, Mario (Tama) Bracuti, and Peter (Melissa) Bracuti.
Deborah found joy in every moment spent with her family, but more so her only granddaughter, Alicia, with sleepovers, making crafts, building legos, and making memories that will last a lifetime. Her love and devotion to her family was unmatched, and she cherished each opportunity to spend time with her family.
Deborah and Larry were high school sweethearts who met at a party in high school and married after Larry returned from Vietnam. Their love sustained the test of time. Together, they raised their two daughters whom Deborah adored with her heart.
