Virginia A. Cook (nee Henderson), 92, of Montville, NJ passed away at home on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

Virginia was born in Paterson in July 1933. Known as “Ginny” she devoted her life to her family, her faith, and taking care of others. She volunteered at the Montville Historical Society and gave over 40 years to Homeless Solutions in Morristown, serving meals.

Ginny was dedicated to the Montville Reformed Church – she was a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Women’s Guild, the Consistory, and the Cemetery Committee. She also worked the farm, loved word puzzles, and crocheted afghans when she had time.

Virginia was predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Cook in 2004; and her son, Alan H. Cook in 2023. She is survived by her son, Robert W. Cook and his wife, Gigi; her grandchildren, Robert T. Cook, Melissa Zabriskie, Rebecca Campbell, and Brielle Cook; her great-grandchildren, Brent Zabriskie, Mackenzie Zabriskie, Bailey Cook, Cody Cook, Riley Campbell, Reagan Campbell, Thomas Cook, and Robert Campbell III.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 19th from 4:00 – 8:00pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, Denville. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 20th at 11:00am in Montville Reformed Church, followed by the burial at Montville Reformed Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ginny’s honor to Homeless Solutions or Montville Reformed Church would be most appreciated.
