Obituary of Lino Redondo, Jr.

Please share a memory of Lino to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lino Redondo passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025. He was born in Newark, New Jersey, to Lino and Rachel Redondo and was raised there alongside his four siblings. Newark was the place where Lino’s strong roots were formed, surrounded by family, hard work, and a lifelong curiosity for learning.

Lino attended a vocational school where he learned the art and craft of printing, mastering every aspect of the trade. He went on to pursue printing as a career for many years, taking pride in his skill, dedication, and attention to detail.

For over 50 years, Lino made his home in Denville, where he lived with his brother and sister and built lasting friendships within the community. Lino was known by those closest to him as an avid reader with a deep love of learning. His sister fondly recalled that he was incredibly intelligent and could talk endlessly—and enthusiastically—about the books he read, always eager to share what he had learned.

Above all, Lino had a big heart. He was a devoted caretaker who looked after those he loved with patience and compassion. He took exceptional care of his brother, Robert, and his sister, MaryAnn, always placing their well-being before his own. Sharing their home were four beloved cats, whom Lino cherished dearly. His love for cats was well known, and he found great comfort and joy in caring for them.

Lino Redondo will be remembered for his intelligence, kindness, loyalty, and quiet strength. He is now reunited with the loved ones who passed before him; his brothers, Michael Redondo, Dominic Redondo, Robert Redondo, and his parents, Lino and Rachel Redondo. He leaves behind his beloved sister, MaryAnn Redondo, as well as many friends who will remember him fondly.
