We will all miss uncle John greatly, and feel comforted that he’s looking down with Aunt Janet and Uncle Walter. One of my favorite memories of Uncle John is when we were at Lukans farm and we were setting off our yearly rockets. He was working really hard on a specific huge rocket that literally looked like a rocket ship. There was a ton of “hype” going around the Cisco family about this rocket, and he even put a mini astronaut inside. When the time finally came to set it off, we all gathered around and expected it to shoot up higher than all the others. After getting everything ready for takeoff, we finally pressed the ignition and it rose up maybe 3-4 feet in the air and exploded. He wasn’t too thrilled, but it was one of the hardest I’ve laughed in my life up to that point. Fun times like this surrounded him and our family. Uncle John will live forever in my heart, and I’m thankful for the time we were able to spend together from when I was a little kid, up until the final days. - Mark Cisco

The Daly family sends its condolences to the Ciscos. John was always a warm and friendly presence at Indian Lake clubhouse and he made a great Santa! My dad spent many Monday Night Football games and other Men's Club events with John and remembers him fondly. We hope for peace and send our love to your family at this difficult time.
