Obituary of Susanne Katherine Foley
Susanne Foley, born May 5, 1958, in Denville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of Harold and Helen Foley and grew up in a warm, lively home alongside her five siblings. Susanne graduated from Morris Knolls High School, where she first began to nurture the creative talents that would become central to her life.
Artistic by nature, Susanne found joy in crafting of all kinds. Whether she was working with paper, paint, or anything she could turn into something beautiful, her hands were rarely still. Music was another of her gifts; she played both the piano and guitar with a quiet grace that brought comfort and joy to those who heard her.
Susanne also had a well-known love of sweets—both enjoying them and sharing them. Her chocolate chip cookies were a family treasure, and the kitchen was often filled with the aroma of freshly baked treats. Baking was one of her greatest joys, a way she expressed love and created memories that will be cherished forever.
Susanne will be remembered for her creativity, her gentle spirit, and the warmth she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a family who will miss her deeply and hold her memory close always. Susanne is survived by her siblings, Bob Foley and his wife Linda, Claire Foley, Lynn McAndrew and her husband Pat, Donald Foley, as well as a wealth of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. She is now reunited with her sister, Jeanne Foley, who passed away in 2023.
Though no formal services will be held, we encourage you to leave a condolence, share a memory, or light a candle to continue to let Susanne’s light shine!
