Joan Hanley Siegrist, 94, passed away on November 20, 2025 in Denville, NJ. She was born in Montclair, NJ to Joseph and Agnes Hanley. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Otto M. Siegrist, her parents, and her sister, Gay Carpenter.
Joan is survived by her children Lawrence Siegrist and his wife Kathy, Karen Siegrist and her partner Frank, and Kevin Siegrist and his wife Mary, and her sister Jane Bryda.
Joan was a master gardener and knitter, loved visiting Acadia National Park, and never turned down a game of Bingo.
A memorial mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Association of Northern New Jersey or Friends of Acadia in Bar Harbor, Maine.
