Obituary of Elaine Cecile Lee

Please share a memory of Elaine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Elaine C. Lee, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on November 12th. She was 78 years old. She was surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Mario and Marie Pericola, Elaine grew up in Parsippany alongside her two brothers, Thomas and Matthew. She was a graduate of Morris Catholic High School and later earned a certificate from business school. Elaine built many lasting friendships working at Morristown cardiology associates.

Above all, Elaine’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was the devoted mother of two sons and the proud grandmother of five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Elaine could always be found cheering from the sidelines at her grandchildren’s baseball, football, and soccer games. She treasured every moment spent with her family, creating countless memories filled with laughter and love.

Elaine also valued her friendships deeply and maintained lifelong bonds with many dear friends. Known for her lively and generous spirit, she took great pleasure in planning get-togethers that brought family and friends together year after year.

Elaine will be remembered for her warmth, loyalty, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. Her legacy of kindness, family devotion, and joyful gatherings will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Elaine is survived by her husband, Robert Lee, her sons, George Somers (Jennifer), Scott Somers (Jennifer), her grandchildren, Douglas Juno (Angelina), Georgie Somers, Matthew Somers, Emily Somers, Dillon Somers, her great grandson Lucas, her brother, Thomas Pericola (Maria), as well as a wealth of friends who will remember her fondly. We take comfort in knowing that Elaine is now reunited in Heaven with her brother, Matthew “Buzzy” Pericola.
