Obituary of Jane McCrudden

Jane McCrudden, 98, formally of Denville, NJ passed away peacefully on October 24^th 2025.

Jane was born on June 30th 1927 in Yonkers NY to Ira and Elizabeth Tansey. 

She was married to James McCrudden in Yonkers NY on September 14th, 1947. In 1955, Jane and Jim moved to the Indian Lake section of Denville where they made many lifelong friends. Jane considered the happiest days of her life living in her little house on Highland Trail. In 1976, they moved to Lenape Island, Indian Lake and stayed there until they moved to Fox Hills in Rockaway in 2003. 

Jane worked at several places over the years but her fondest career was that of wife and mother. She considered her greatest achievement to be her family.

She is predeceased by James McCrudden, her loving husband of 65 years. Jane is survived by her 4 children; Jim McCrudden and wife Carrie, Cathy Flood and husband Andrew, Lisa True and husband John, and Ira McCrudden and partner David Ellis (pre-deceased). She leaves behind 11 wonderful grandchildren and 13 precious great grandchildren.

In accordance with Jane's wishes, the burial service will be private.
