Obituary of Thomas J. Kilfeather

Please share a memory of Thomas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Thomas Joseph Kilfeather passed away peacefully on October 13th, 2025 at Holly Manor Nursing Home in Mendham, NJ at the age of 92.

Born to Thomas & Emma Kilfeather, Tom was raised in Brooklyn, NY. He lived in Queens, NY for a short time before moving to Mendham, NJ where he lived for the past 20 years. Tom served honorably in the US Army from 1953 - 1955. He worked in the clerical field for a large steel company in NYC. And later for a bank owned by Mass Mutual Ins. Co. in NJ. As an adult he completed an electronics course and was able to fix old televisions, radios and household electrical issues. He was much better than most his age with computers. Photography was also a hobby when a bit younger.

Though Tom never married or had children, he was a wonderful uncle to his niece, Dianne Milanesi, great-nephew Damien T. Milanesi, great-great nephew Damien J. Milanesi, great-great niece Cassidy R. Milanesi and her son Adrian. His brother-in-law and sister, Woodrow and Eileen Williamson and his parents preceded him in death. He was loved by his neighbors and caretakers, always being helpful, cheerful and positive, never complaining or asking for much.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 15 Myers Avenue, Denville, NJ.
