John (Smitty) and I are so shocked that Margaret passed away. Your mom and grandmother was a very special woman. We met her and your dad, grand father at their next door neighbors Barbara Glennon and Jimmy. Thru the years we saw them often and both family's kids.
The guys always helped each other working at all our houses. Sometimes it had to be done again too many brewsky's. We always had a good time together. The Healy's and Glennon's with all the children and grand children remain family after so many years. I always admired Margaret and Pat. God bless you all and so sorry.
Love,
Ruth Fanion, John Smith

Margaret and I were childhood friends. We were in the same class in SHS from 1st grade through 8th. We went to different High Schools. Margaret was always a delight to be around and when I think of her I smile. My condolences to all who loved her and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Until we meet again RIP Margaret.
Love,

I have known Maggie my whole life! From my first newborn appointment at Dr Magadans, to working alongside Maggie years ago. She taught me so much, helped shape me into the medical field, and was always a blessing to be around. She will surely be missed❤️

To Carol, Kevin, Deirdre, Michael and Matthew, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your mum Margaret. I have very fond memories of time spent in your house in New Jersey as a kid and of your Mums trip to Ireland in more recent times. She was a truly lovely lady, so warm and welcoming and I know she’s going to be missed so much. Thinking of you all at this sad and difficult time. RIP Margaret. Noeleen O’Brien (Carolan)

The world has lost a fantastic lady,
My heartfelt condolences to all that mourn Maggie.
I came to know her at Morris Ped’s with Doc Fernandez, and then Doc Magaden.
I recently bumped into her a the Acme, must have been August, and I was thrilled to hear she was still doing work there. She loved her connection to all the kids and their parents.Always happy to chat, whenever we would meet, and share stories of our kids and Grandkids,
Rest easy Maggie, until we meet again.
Sincerely,
Linda Flanigan

To me, the task of writing Margaret's obituary seemed impossible. There was just too much to say about Margaret--her love of family, care and support of others, joy in life, intelligence . . . Yet, her children managed to convey the essence of their mother, Margaret Courtney Healy.
Margaret and I became friends during our freshman year at Aquinas High School, way back in 1960, and we remained friends always. Now--Two Margaret anecdotes separated by many years.
On our freshman field trip to Bear Mountain State Park in 1961, far from being experienced navigators, we took our own rowboat out on the thankfully calm lake, a daring adventure for kids from the Bronx. In 2017, celebrating our 70th birthdays in NYC with Highbridge friend and fellow Aquinite Clare McMahon Brady, we again ventured out on a boat, this time one that circled the Harbor and Statue of Liberty. (And fortunately ; ) we were not in charge of navigation). Genial, as ever, Margaret began a conversation with Scandinavian tourists, a father and son--and the cold, January winds were forgotten as we conversed with new friends and continued our adventures.
Our lives were busy and we didn't see each other often. But, when we met or talked, it was always as if no time had passed.
I will miss you, Margaret, Friend of My Heart.

My deepest condolences.
I got to know Maggie when I had the honor and privilege of being her hairdresser. I would come to her house and she always made me feel right at home. We laughed and shared stories, we talked about New York City and she showed up for me when my own mother passed away, which meant so much. Special lady. May she rest in eternal peace.

To my beautiful sister, I will miss you forever. I will miss your smile and laughter. I will miss our conversations and your thoughtfulness. My world has become so much smaller without you and the hole you left in my life will never be filled.
I remember our days growing up in Highbridge in our small apartment on University Ave. I think back at our brother – sister arguments now with a smile since they were so petty and meaningless but at the time seemed important. But one thing that was consistent was your support and praise in my life both as a youngster and as an adult.
I will remember you always in my thoughts and prayers.
Your loving brother,
Johnny
