Helen and family, Forrest and I are very sorry for your loss. When we moved in across the street and were working outside Pete came over and brought us a 6 pack of cold beer to take a break from a long day's work. Another time, he had us come over to the house to have a drink and take a break. I was embarrassed as we were in our grungy work clothes from working on the house but it is moment I will cherish. He was always friendly and caring man. We will miss seeing you, Pete.

Pete was always very kind to me. Whenever we spoke or were together I was greeted with a warm hug and a huge smile. He would always reminisce about how He and Helen would take me out when I was a baby. They were in high school at the time. I remember being thrilled when his children were born. I finally had someone younger than me and I was so happy to be able to play with Diane, Peter and David when they were toddlers. I recall Pete recording his children when they first learned to speak. I can still hear
Diane reciting different rhymes she memorize. She was so serious and spoke flawlessly. Pete was so proud.
Pete would always smile and laugh at the loving reception he received from my parents whenever he visited and how my mother and father loved seeing them . Always delighted to have Helen and Pete visit, they would magically whip up a small feast of Italian specialties for them.
Pete had a close relationship with my brothers. They shared many happy memories and stories of growing up in the bedroom community of Lyndhurst. All through the years they remained close. I will never forget Pete and I am happy that he is joining the others in a better world. Rest in peace, dear Cousin.
