Pat was like a mother to me. Very warm and caring. I felt so loved and welcomed by her. She was quick to lend a listening ear. And always had cookies for me!
A few years back I went to her home in the evening. Was going through a tough time. After talking, I sat outside in her yard against a tree in the dark and played my guitar. A woman walked by, with her dog. She passed me again. Ten minutes later a cop car passed by. He passed by again, got out of his car.
What’s going on? How are you doing? You live here? Lots of questions… He knocked on her door. Do you know that man? Is he your pastor? Yes! She was unashamed.
Just one of so many memories…
And she loved my son.

I had the privilege of knowing ‘Aunt’ Pat ever since I was born. Ken and I were close in age so as children, we saw each other often. I’ll never forget the time Aunt Pat took my brother, Gary, Ken and me to Space Farms in Sussex. Aunt Pat made it a very fun and special day for all of us. She was kind, loving and compassionate. She will be missed….
To Ken & Janet, Kim & Randy, Steve & Sue, and Families ~ May the divine spark of Aunt Pat’s life forever glow in your hearts.

Pat was so kind. I had the privilege of attending some Bible studies at our home, and enjoying God's word with like-minded women at her dining room table. She was a gentle soul and will be greatly missed.

My memories of Pat Kovacs will remain for ever as a wonderful example and inspiration. Pat has had to face many health challenges in her life, and she managed them with amazing grace, patience and kindness, in humble surrender to God’s will, whom she loved dearly. Pat will be greatly missed.

I so fondley remember Pat, along with Marie and Janet from my time at Calvary Chapel Morris Hills. Pat used to bring them to Sunday service and the Women's Group meetings on Thursday nights. We would sit together after service in Fellowship Hall enjoying our coffee, tea, and treats, just talking about our lives. Every so often the Share the Well Ministry day would come up and we'd gather in the Dover Presbyterian church parking lot after service to distribute a hot meal and clothing to the homeless. It was a ministry Pat started and ran for a several years. Now all three sisters are together in eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ.

You saw the Lord in her life, and she was a dearly loved friend to my mom and Janet and everyone in the women's connection. She brought supplies and meals to the homeless every month.

I lived across the street from Mr. & Mrs. Kovacs for many years and I have quite a few memories. Some that really stand out to me are:
The loving care that they took of John's mother, Rose.
The delicious holiday meal we were invited to. My two young daughters had a delightful time, loving the food and the beautiful hand beaded ornaments made by Pat that made her tree sparkle.
The warm and gentle hug John gave me when he met me outside in my parents' driveway the morning my father passed away.
Two gentle souls are now united with Jesus in Heaven. God bless Ken and Kim and your beautiful families.

I remember our time together at Fellowship Chapel. I also enjoyed Pat’s Saturday morning Bible studies. She was a gracious hostess and was always prepared as she led the studies. We always closed with prayer for each other as we shared our lives. I will miss her, but I’m sure she is enjoying heaven and our Savior’s words, “Well done good and faithful servant.”

Pat was a dear friend to the Proudley family and especially to Mom Janet . Her unwavering love and support after her dear Ron’s passing and calming presence was a blessing and a comfort to us all . Faithfully picking Mom up for church for many years as well and sharing a love for the Lord and God’s word . A friend loves at all times . Proverbs 17:17 Thank you Pat .

I remember our visits when Pat lived in Carteret and I lived in Metuchen, New Jersey. We played together as young kids. I also was proud to be an usher in Pat and John's wedding. She was a great Christian and a wonderful cousin. Bill Ellis
