I met Joe at our Why Catholic Bible Study in 2010. We were a small group of 7 people and became very close over the years. Joe was a lovely man; kind, soft-spoken, respectful and with a positive attitude no matter what. I remember when we had Mass said at his house on the lake how honored he was to host that event in his home. We had some really great times together but what I will remember most about him is how much he loved his children and grandchildren. They were everything to him. Good man - I will miss him. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

Michele, my wife & Cindy have been best of friends since early childhood. I feel fortunate to have known Joe for most of my adult life because of their friendship. His dedication to his wife Charlotte and his children was evident from the day I met him. He impressed me from day one with his light hearted demeanor and his ability to connect to his kids friends as well as his peers.
Joe was generous sharing his knowledge of technical aspects of home repairs as well as his insights into boating fishing and keeping peace on the homefront. What man wouldn’t benefit from advice like that? His grandson Garrett may have paid him the highest honor when he said of him recently “ He is a beautiful soul and he leaves behind a colossal legacy. The world needs more men like him.” I could not agree more and I am humbled to have known him. RIP Joe
