Obituary of Phyllis Colin
Phyllis Colin, of Mt. Arlington, NJ passed away peacefully at her home on September 17, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Phyllis later resided in Flanders, NJ before moving to Mt. Arlington ten years ago. She dedicated many years of her career to executive support at AT&T, retiring in 1993.
Phyllis was known for her warmth, creativity, and adventurous spirit. She had a passion for knitting and was a devoted world traveler, cherishing the many experiences and memories she gathered throughout her life.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, Barnett David Colin of Mt. Arlington, NJ; her loving children, Sheryl Colin-Falzarano of Budd Lake, NJ and Gary and his wife Janine Colin of Denville, NJ. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Kyle and his wife Victoria Colin, Cory Falzarano, and Heather Falzarano and her fiancé Justin Demarco, as well as her dear nieces Helene and Gail.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 2:00PM to 5:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834. For additional information, please visit www.normandean.com.
